If you have never participated in a fundraiser in Nosara now is the time.
This is a must attend event ... cocktails, the best bocas (sushi, shish kabobs, desserts), both a live and silent auction,
a lot of fun is to be had; but most importantly it is for a very important cause.
Monkeys and other wildlife are continually being electrocuted on power lines
These creatures are completely innocent victims whose fate is being determined by our encroaching development.
Your help is desperately needed to continue efforts for both their medical treatment and the prevention of these electrocutions.
The cost to treat and protect our Howlers is over $125,000 a year.
With this in mind, Nosara Wildlife Rescue, the not for profit organization that incorporates
Sibu Sanctuary and Refugio Animales de Nosara, invites you to see their efforts first hand.

Rare Classic Surfboard
"The Greg Noll was given to me by a retired surfer friend gone sailer ....
When I came into position she had been in the elements under a big pine tree in Maine .. I know not how long. The board had a fin box with dove tailed pins so the fin could be adjusted ( I had never seen a fin box like that from the 60's ... but I am a nor'east coaster ) The uv's had destroyed the fin and box so I replaced it with a standard box and fin. I rode it in Maine and then brought it here and rode it here until my nephew ran it into the sand and popped the box. I had a fin fixed in four years ago
My research suggested that there were only a few of the Yancy Spencer models made ... one site suggested only seven."
